Jack is the brother of Jeanie Blueyes (named after my dad’s name for my mum). He is also the father of Jomese Jingle Bells – owned and much loved by Julie-Anne Bray and Jomese Jackson owned and loved by the Kitching family.
Jack has had a very successful show career to date: - at the age of 1 year and 10 months he has ..... 4 Imperial Grand certificates and 2 Reserve Imperial Grand Certificates. Just one more to go!!! He gained his Grand Premier title at the age of 13 months, in 3 straight shows. He has since gained a further 6 Grand titles and 4 Reserve Grand titles, finally gaining his Imperial title at the East Sussex Show 2007, aged just 2.
He now holds 10 Imperial certificates.
At the Supreme 2006 Jack won his first UK Grand certificate. Jack gained his Premier title in 3 straight shows at the age of 10 months.and was Best of Variety kitten at the Supreme 2005. He has won 5 Best in show kitten awards. 1 Overall Best in Show as a kitten 6 Best in Show Neuter awards 5 Overall Best in Show awards as a neuter
Eric is an Apricot point Siamese. Apricot is not yet a fully recognised colour and Eric cannot therefore compete for Premier or Grand Premier titles. Instead, Eric competes for Intermediate Certificates. He has won 16 ICs to date, and has only ever been beaten once in an Open class.
Eric has won 5 Best in Show awards, one of which was as a kitten. Eric also has 1 Premier Certificate awarded in his first adult show when he was originally registered as a cream point!
A cat of enormous character , he is dearly loved by all who know him. He regularly adopts litters of kittens when mum has had enough, and cleans and suckles them until they leave home.
Eric’s favourite food is treacle tart! He is a very clumsy cat who regularly falls off things. Unlike the majority of cats, he doesn’t usually manage to land on his feet.
Billy is the baby on the block! He is Eric’s half brother and was one of 9 kittens. The litter produced an amazing 5 quality show kittens, including Jonny Flybynight, Jenuinely Gorjus, Jock Thescot and Allthatjazz. Jock Thescot eventually went to a lovely home as a pet and Allthatjazz has yet to make her debut.
Billy has had a successful show career as a kitten, having won all but one of his Open classes (and that was at the Supreme).
He has been to one show as an adult, where he won his first PC and Best of Breed, and was nominated for BIS male neuter. (He was beaten for that by Jack)
Billy is a bit of a stroppy adolescent at the moment. He is very, very affectionate and a real lap cat. He has boundless energy and chases anything that moves. He adores kittens and can often be found looking after his younger brothers and sisters.
I had never been a lover of seal points and really don’t know why I fell so in love with Billy. I was very torn between keeping Billy or keeping Jonny Flybynight, his blue brother, who I also adored. I eventually decided that as I already had one very good blue neuter it was silly to keep a second who would be in direct competition.
Jonny now has a lovely new showing home with Debbie Copeland and we hope that he will take the North by storm.
Jeanie is Jack’s sister. She is as different in temperament from him as chalk and cheese! Unfortunately Jeanie is a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde character – I often think if she were human she would be schizophrenic.
Jeanie had a very successful show career as a kitten, being unbeaten in Open classes. However, she always lost out to Jack for Best of Breed.
As an adult she gained her Champion title in 3 straight shows and was Best in Show Adult at her first adult show.
Jeanie has had 2 litters of kittens, both by emergency Caesarian. She had 2 kittens in her first litter and 3, one of which was stillborn in her second. Sadly, not one of her kittens has turned out to be another beautiful blue point.
Jomese Jingle Bells is a lilac point and owned and much loved by Julie-Anne Bray. He is a gorgeous purry little cat who thoroughly enjoys his days out at shows. Jomese Jackson is a blue point boy who is a much loved pet.
Jomese Juicylucy Lilac is Jeanie’s sole surviving kitten from her second litter and although she is not of show quality, she will be staying here as she is the only one left of that line and hopefully may produce some nice kittens.
Jeanie has now been neutered and hopefully will resume her show career as a neuter. Sadly she found pregnancy and birth very difficult and despite trying her best, was not a model mum.
